Late Mrs. Ojara Ikegwu was a Social worker Ojara Ikeagwu died, aged 56, in the London bombings of 7 July, 2005, which claimed the lives of 52 people in total and injured more than 700.
The mother-of-three, who commuted every day from her home in Luton, Bedfordshire, to Hounslow in west London, was on her way to work when she was caught up in the terror attacks. She died in the explosion on board a Piccadilly line Tube heading for Russell Square.
Originally from Nigeria, she had lived in Luton for 25 years and was employed by Hounslow social services, where she specialised in helping adults with learning difficulties.
Judy Smart, head of the Berkeley Centre in Heston, where Mrs Ikeagwu was based, described her as a person who was "highly committed to the learning disability service."
When at home Mrs Ikeagwu also did voluntary work, particularly among the Nigerian community.
She was survived by her husband, a retired doctor, Okorasor Ikeagwu, and their three adult children.
Four Islamic suicide bombers carried out a series of co-ordinated attacks on the London transport system on that Thursday morning, causing mayhem during the rush hour. Bombs were detonated on three Underground trains and a bus.
